Sessions varies for each individual.

My life coaching approach is interactive, dynamic and holistic.  Meaning I use various tools and techniques that will help you achieve your goal in a way that is sustainable and suits YOU best. It is always a co-creation with the client. This may include BodyTalk Balancing session, acupressure, tuina massage or homework exercises that we have established together during the session.  The ideal goal is to find the most dynamic point of balance within your system so you are equip to deal with whatever life throws at you with ease and grace.

The number of sessions is highly variable and is designed to be specific to each individual.

In terms of coaching, it depends on the goal and your commitment. As for BodyTalk balancing sessions, some issues are stored deeply in the body’s systems and others are quite straightforward.  Like an onion, if the concern is at the core, there are layers that have been placed around it to protect and compensate. BodyTalk can help identify and peel those layers, getting to the core issues over time.  Some clients notice changes in body, mind or spirit during the first session.

BodyTalk can address issues on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, as well as play a key role in health maintenance and prevention.

We all experience stress, be it in mind, body or spirit. In fact, it’s the number one cause of disease in the world because it causes the natural communication lines in the body to break down. When the body forgets how to communicate with itself, injury and illness occur.

A problem facing the body today is in the way our lifestyles interfere with the natural processes of the body. Most people in society are routinely exposed to:

  • Physical stresses including physical injuries
  • Emotional traumas
  • Chemical substances contained in food , water, and air.
  • Exposure to artificial energy fields that exist within our society
  • Electronic devices that we use on a daily basis.

These factors compromise the communication networks or energy circuits of the body. It is critical that these systems be perfectly balanced for the body to effectively coordinate the billions of synchronized activities that are necessary to maintain optimum health. The body only fails in its job because its communication systems have been compromised through the external stresses of life.

The BodyTalk System “facilitates” the body’s natural communication, synchronization and balancing processes which may have been interrupted through disease, injury, trauma and/or environmental factors. By re-establishing good communication between the various parts of the body, they once again are able to “talk” to each other. The body is then capable of healing itself rapidly and effectively.

The BodyTalk philosophy is that every person has a unique balance that should be addressed.  The ideal goal is to find the best, most dynamic point of balance within our bodymind complex, such that we are easily able to respond to the issues life throws at us with ease and grace.

Like an onion, if the concern is at the core, there are layers that have been placed around it to protect and compensate. BodyTalk can help to identify and peel those layers getting to the core issues over time.

While BodyTalk does not diagnose or treat specific ailments,  clinical experience has shown that once their overall systems are balanced through a BodyTalk Session, clients have exhibited significant imporvement in  chronic and acute pain, sports performance, injuries, learning disorders (ADD, ADHD, etc.), allergies, infections and much more.

Sports Performance Weight Loss Fertility
Depression Stress Allergies
Sleep Fear/Phobias Viruses
Back/Body Pain Digestive Disorders Infection
ADHD Reproductive Disorders Injuries
Migraines Organ Dysfunction Chronic Fatigue
Headaches Endocrine Dysfunction Arthritis
Sports Injury Emotional Disorders Dyslexia

*These are just a few symptoms that BodyTalk can help improve

Current areas addressed by the BodyTalk system are:

  • Specific balancing of the twelve major body organs, eight endocrine systems, and other non-specific body parts.
  • Balancing the 36 surface energy points that often have an impact upon a person’s energy level, mood, overall structural integrity, muscle tension, and digestive system. These surface energy imbalances are also a cause of pain in specific parts of the body.
  • BodyTalk can specifically activate an immune response to eliminate chronic and acute viruses, bacteria, parasites, food intolerances, environmental allergies, and accumulated toxins.
  • Musculo-skeletal treatment can improve general posture and coordination, as well as address acute or chronic muscular disorders, back problems, and joint disorders such as arthritis.
  • BodyTalk can help in clearing past and present emotional blockages including specific phobias.
  • Other areas where BodyTalk has proved helpful include overall breathing patterns, left-right brain co-ordination, energy blockages associated with birthplace, energy imbalances within the brain cortices, general and localized hydration, and health problems associated with internal and external scarring.

Your job during a session is to relax and breathe deeply.  Usually you will lie on a massage table, fully clothed, with pillows and/or a blanket.  The practitioner gently moves your arm and follows the protocol.  The practitioner will be identifying and linking items to each other; based on what your bodymind states is a priority. During the balancing procedure the practitioner will contact various points and you may be asked to place your hands on the various links (wrist, lower back, throat chakra) as well along with exaggerated breathing.  The practitioner will tap lightly over the brain to facilitate the restoration of the new links and then over the sternum (heart) to store the changes.

After a session, you are encouraged to drink fluids. Some people feel energized and revitalized after a session, others feel calm and relaxed.

  • BodyTalk bridges the gap between Eastern and Western Medicine. It encompasses:
    • Western Medical Expertise
    • Energy Dynamics of Acupuncture
    • Osteopathic and Chiropractic Philosophy
    • The clinical findings of Applied Kinesiology
    • The Insights of Modern Physics and Mathematics
  • Unique to each individual
    • Naturally, most clients arrive for a session with a health concern, and this problem is addressed. However, the BodyTalk Practitioner does not make a diagnosis for the purpose of establishing a specific session protocol. BodyTalk recognizes that although two people may appear to show the exact same symptoms, the communication links needed to balance their conditions may be entirely different. No two sessions are alike!
  • Can be Used as a Stand Alone System or Seamlessly Integrated into any Healthcare System

BodyTalk’s major assets are it’s simplicity, safety and the speed of it’s results. With BodyTalk, the practitioner does not need to diagnose the problem with the patient. Through muscle testing the clients’ bodymind informs the practitioner which energy systems need to be rebalanced and in which particular order. This is a key aspect of the BodyTalk system and one which we feel is probably the main reason why the system works so well.

Because the BodyTalk System allows the body’s own healing abilities to effect change, client’s see long-lasting, ongoing improvements in health rather than symptomatic relief. It is non-invasive, objective in application and can be used on its own or can complement other forms of healthcare, alternative or conventional.

The BodyTalk treatment protocol is very straightforward

and does not require any diagnosis.

The practitioner relies on the guidance of the body using neuromuscular biofeedback (muscle testing) to locate and identify weakened energy pathways within the whole BodyMind, and in the proper order in which they are to be addressed. By following a comprehensive set of protocol, the BodyTalk practitioner can establish exactly what balances need to be restored in order to harmonze bodymind function using simple, non invasive and effective techniques.

A BodyTalk session peels away the layers of imbalance and stress to restore the natural healing abilities of the body.

(1)  ASKING THE BODY
The BodyTalk Practitioner uses neuromuscular biofeedback (muscle testing) to find out which parts of the body need better communication and harmony.

(2)  PRIORITIZING
In BodyTalk, we respect the order of factors to be addressed. The BodyTalk Practitioner follows a comprehensive protocol and procedure chart, which is the foundation of the BodyTalk System. This chart is extremely detailed and incorporates Western, Eastern and Ayurvedic Medicine as well as many other modern health care systems that are used to re-synchronize and balance the body.

(3)  BALANCING PROCEDURE
For every weakened energy pathway that is found, the practitioner, and at times the patient, contact the corresponding “trigger points” with their hands. While holding these points the patient breathes deeply as the practitioner lightly taps the patient on the top of the head, and the heart (sternum).

HEAD

Tapping over the brain complex is to re-evaluate the state of the body’s health and initiate the repair. BodyTalk ‘tapping’ is based on an old Hatha Yoga technique. Experiments with the biofeedback apparatus show that when this ‘tapping’ occurs while specific parts of the body are being touched, there is a major increase in brain activity in relation to those parts.

HEART

The practitioner then lightly taps the patient’s chest to store the changes in the heart energy complex. Since the heart is responsible for communicating the body’s state of health to the rest of the body, stimulating the heart complex ensures that the corrected energy patterns are stored in the cellular memory and is therefore lasting.

A light tapping technique is used to help the brain balance and restore communication within the body.

These factors compromise the communication networks or energy circuits of the body. FROM PRESENT TO FUTURE: The coaching experience is about moving a client from where they are now to where they want to be in the least amount of time.  This is a tremendous benefit considering that “time” is one of our most valuable resources.

More Synergy: with the focused energies of client and coach, clients will accomplish more, sooner.

More Structure: definable, measurable and meaningful goals are set by the client with the coach holding the client accountable for the desired results.

More Expertise: there are two experts working together towards the stated goal of the client, the client who is the expert of their life, business and career and the coach who is the expert of the Coaching Process.

*It’s a collaborative process and relationship*

1. Psychotheraphy or Counselling  aims to solve problems by understanding what happenned in the past. Coaching is almost exclusively future focused.

Coaching is focused on future possibilities. By acknowledging the present and working with facts, coaching supports what you really want most of all in the “future”. A coach doesn’t work on issues and doesn’t get into the past. This distinguishes coaching from say a “counselor or a therapist” who may be focusing on resolving past issues.

2. Coaches are

>STRATEGISTS….Goals & Objectives

>REALISTS….Possibilities vs. Status Quo

>INNOVATIVE PARTNERS….Perception is everything

>STRATEGIC THINKERS…..Solution vs. Problems
